The AMMO Hot Dog is a portable, 350W, 2-speed heat gun with variable temperatures (70-100C and 380C), designed for scale modeling and crafts. It provides 120 l/min of air volume and includes a 1.5 m (5 ft) power cord with an EU plug.

The Hot Dogs pencil-like design fits comfortably in hand, making it ideal for detailed tasks. A built-in heat sink stabilizes internal temperature, ensuring durability and extended use. Key features include an anti-scald protection nozzle, a foldable wire stand for hands-free operation, and overheating protection. If the tool overheats, it automatically shuts off and can be used again after a 10-minute cooling period. Its lightweight, compact, and completely silent design includes a non-slip rubber coating along its sides, minimizing potential risks during use. It also comes with a tripod for working at adjustable angles and heights.

The Hot Dog is suitable for various modelling applications, such as:

• Speeding up the drying time of paint and effects: Use the lower setting (I), keeping the gun about 15 cm (6 in) from the models surface. Move and rotate the model constantly in front of the heat gun to ensure even drying and prevent deformation.
• Helping decals conform to model surfaces.
• Fixing warped resin and styrene parts.
• Removing air bubbles that commonly form when pouring clear epoxy and polyester resins to simulate water in dioramas and vignettes.

This versatile tool also supports a range of arts and crafts applications, including curing embossing powders, shrink-wrapping, vinyl wrapping, jewellery making, candle making, and drying paint, glue, or polymer clay.
