Identify the criminal before they cover their tracks!

Last Message is an addictive and clever party game in which a victim tries to put the investigators on the trail of the culprit, hidden among the crowd!

A crime was just committed! The victim is unable to speak but they can draw, and in doing so they will ideally help the inspectors guess who in the vast crowd is the criminal! This shifty character will do anything and everything to cover their tracks, though, so will you be able to stop them before the last message?

In Last Message, the victim of the crime gives clues over four rounds to help the detectives determine the identity of the criminal. To give clues in a round, the victim has 30 seconds in which to draw and write in a 3×3 grid but before handing over these clues, the criminal can erase part of these drawings.

If the criminal is not identified by the end of the fourth round, they win the game; otherwise, the detectives and the victim win.

Who will win? The investigator & victim or the criminal?

In Last Message, 3-8 players divide into three roles:

• A victim.
• A criminal.
• Investigators.

The crime took place in the crowd: identifying the culprit will therefore be particularly complex. But fortunately, the victimcan still give clues to the investigators as to the identity of the culprit . Erasable marker in hand, she canwrite or drawinformation allowing her to be identified on a slate cut into 9 boxes. Warning: the victim only has 30 seconds to compose his message.The slate is then passed on to the culprit.

The latter will then do everythingto make the victim’s message difficult to understand.He has the possibilityof erasingboxes from the slate, which will make the clues more tenuous than ever!

Warning: the further the game progresses, the fewer squares he will be able to clear!The victim’s messages will therefore reach the investigators in a readable manner.But beware: the investigators only have 4 rounds to find the culprit!

Where is the culprit?

Once the slate in hand, the investigators must identify a specific character among 300 others, nothing less.Suffice to say that they will have to scrutinize the crime scenes in order to unearth their smallest details.If they manage to identify the culprit before the end of round 4,they win.Otherwise, the culprit wins the game!

Each illustration is a pure visual treat, teeming with characters and details.The players are immersed in very different universes: fantasy, prehistory, superheroes, western, extra-terrestrial… The illustrations are of high quality and allow a feeling of total immersion, with very many details which will allow (perhaps! ) to the victim to steer the investigators on the right track.

Each illustrator has perfectly known how to create very distinct universes, both in terms of theme and style, and it’s a real pleasure to lose yourself more with each game in the heart of these ultra-dense scenes.
