Matt Shaders offer the colour intensity of inks with a matte, water-resistant finish. They are perfect for creating precise shadows, discolouration, and grime using an airbrush or brush. Their fine transparency allows you to build up effects in subtle layers or even modify the base colour to simulate ageing and heavy wear.

Apply the paints directly or thin them using Acrylic Thinner or Matt Transparator to achieve the level of transparency you want. For best results, apply over a matte surface with an airbrush at low pressure. To continue adding layers or effects, let each coat dry or seal it with a matt varnish.
