2024 marks the 50th anniversary of the first flight of the F-16 Fighting Falcon. While in some countries, the F-16 is being taken out of service Norway and The Netherlands in others, the jet is just about to enter service, like in Slovenia, Argentina or Bulgaria. Today, the F-16 is still in production even though the current F-16 has little to do with the one that flew back in 1974.

Ode to the Falcon is an homage to the F-16 and brings a portrait of all countries flying the agile fighter jet. This hardcover book, with over 400 pages, brings a complete view of the F-16 in the 21st century.

The first 130 pages focus on the F-16s in service with the US Forces, from the different commands to the Thunderbirds, NASA and even the QF-16 drones. The following 230 pages bring a complete view of all other air forces where the F-16 flew and continues to fly! This book also includes over 50 high-quality colour profiles made specifically for this book.

This book is a limited edition publication, of which only 2,000 copies are available worldwide. Coming in at a hefty 2,35 kg, this is a book showing the F-16 in spectacular action, on the ground, in the air and in close-up. It shows the differences between the different blocks and configurations.
