Built in 1980, this NS-532-class autorack features a design that became the universal standard used by most railroads. With end loading doors and enclosed sides, this design prevents vandalism and pilferage and helps to protect vehicles from the elements. Today, NS is one of the largest Class 1 Railroads with over 30,000 employees and operates nearly 22,000 miles of track in the Eastern and Midwestern United States.
