Shunters at Work

Shunters are also known as shunting staff (or switchers in the US). They couple or uncouple vehicles, secure parked vehicles with wheel chocks and operate points. They hold back uncoupled railway wagons with brake shoes and observe the route. The Model Figures are wearing the typical orange safety clothing and red hard hats. All the figures are assuming typical working poses. The set is perfect for realistically decorating railway stations and depots on model railway layouts.
