The Eurocopter SA365/AS365 Dauphin 2 is a medium-weight multipurpose twin-engine helicopter originally manufactured byAerospatiale, later byEurocopter(nowAirbus Helicopters). Several major variations of the Dauphin have been developed and entered production, including the military-orientedEurocopter Panther, theHH/MH-65 Dolphin, the Chinese-producedHarbin Z-9and the improvedEurocopter EC155.

The Eurocopter AS565 Panther is the military version of the Eurocopter AS365 Dauphin medium-weight multi-purpose twin-enginehelicopter. The Panther is used for a wide range of military roles, including combat assault, fire support, anti-submarine warfare, anti-surface warfare, search and rescue, and medical evacuation. Primary users include the French Navy and Brazilian Army.
