The German invasions of Poland, the Low Countries and France in 1940 shocked the world and brought the term “Blitzkrieg” into common usage. Behind the myth was a core of superbly trained and equipped infantry, supported by tanks and artillery and able to operate in combined arms groups far in advance of other armies.

This starter army has everything you need to assemble an early-war German Heer force.

• 1 x medium machine gun team (metal)
• 1 x medium mortar team (metal)
• 1 x light howitzer (metal)
• 1 x Sd. Kfz. 251 half track (plastic)
• 1 x Panzer IV B/C/D medium tank (plastic)
• Assembly and painting instructions, stat cards, full-colour decal sheets, vehicle damage markers, and plastic bases
