Liebherr is celebrating 75 years and WIKING is joining the party! When the Liebherr L 531 wheel loader rolled into WIKINGs portfolio, it replaced a laudable predecessor. After the Hanomag B 11 had served long years of service on various miniature construction sites, the time to find a replacement had come at the end of the 1980s. WIKING utilised the real-life Liebherr model of the L 531, which shaped the action on many construction sites of the pre- and post-war years and could be counted on to perform without fail. There is no doubt that the wheel loader from Liebherr is a must for every 1:87-scale construction site. To celebrate the occasion of Liebherr’s anniversary, WIKING adorned the 1:87-scale wheel loader with the colours with which it shipped from the factory.
